Both members of Mobb Deep have been facing personal issues, alleged Alcoholism, Prison Time, Label woes, Solo venture competition, "Hacked Twitter Accounts", Rumours, Denials and more.
Prodigy & Havoc came together as the group Mobb Deep started while students at LaGuardia High School for Preforming Arts in the early 90's and released their 1st album Juvenile Hell much of which was produced by DJ Premier and Large Professor. Their second Album The Infamousbecame a East Coast Classic, at a time when West Coast Rap was on top, embroiling them in the middle of the media fuelled so-called "East Coast/West Coast Beef".

As successful artists in their own rights; Havoc as a producer for many of Hip-Hop greats; Method Man, Eminem, Nas, Foxy Brown, Onyx, O.G.C., The Notorious B.I.G., Jadakiss, Styles P, Game, Diddy, LL Cool J, Big Noyd, Termanology, Capone-N-Noreaga, Prodigy's solo work and Mobb Deep; and Prodigy releasing his 3 part H.N.I.C. series.
In 2005 Mobb Deep signed to 50 Cent's G-Unit records despite the fact that 50 Cent dissed them on "Piggy Bank", many die-hard Mobb fans were critical of the move, although in late 2009, Mobb Deep were released from their contract. It was during this period that Prodigy became a regular on hood youtube video channels, out spokenly critical of many rappers, and created beef for the group. Prodigy was arrested on a Gun Charge and asserted that the "Hip-Hop Police" had offered a deal if he would set up 50 Cent, which he allegedly refused.
In the months leading up to his Prison term, he released some of his best music, putting him in a league with modern Political MC's like Immortal Technique, and while in Prison, he released Phone Time (Welcome To State Prison), and a 5 page letter accusing Jay-Z of being an Illuminati Puppet, and showed his support for Afrika Bambaataa and Incarcerated Religious Leader Dr. Malachi Z York.
During his Prison stretch, Prodigy wrote his now "Infamous" book My Infamous Life: The Autobiography of Mobb Deep's Prodigy, where he discusses events in his life. While revealing his life story, he has been widely accused of "Dry Snitching" on many Queensbridge and Hip-Hop artists, and the release saw a slew of back and fourths between Prodigy and Queens Rappers and Crime figures. All of this may have proved fatal to the Mobb Deep relationship, as Havoc is noticeably not openly involved in the over hyped tit for tat media circus.
Recently the Hip-Hop Radio Shock Jocks have been having a feeding frenzy over rumours of a very personal Mobb split, much of which features in the videos below. We at The Kool Skool do not get joy over this situation, and will not add to it. Unfortunately, it seems that "the Rap Industry" is more focused on fuelling Rap Beefs and Gossip, than celebrating what this industry is actually about - Music. All there is to be said is that Mobb Deep are a legendary Group, and like Groups, they fall out, and all you can do is hope they can sort out their differences, or wish them luck on their respective solo careers, and celebrate almost 20 years of dope music.

(Reuters) - "The Obama administration on Friday formally released $1.3 billion in military aid for Egypt despite Cairo's failure to meet pro-democracy goals, saying U.S. national security required continued military assistance.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton waived congressional conditions imposed late last year that tied U.S. aid to progress in Egypt's transition to democracy following the ouster of longtime President Hosni Mubarak.
"These decisions reflect America's over-arching goal: to maintain our strategic partnership with an Egypt made stronger and more stable by a successful transition to democracy," State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said in a statement.
Clinton's decision, which has been criticized by some U.S. lawmakers, took note of Egypt's progress since last year's street revolution, including holding parliamentary elections and preparing for a presidential election in May.
But a crackdown on pro-democracy forces - including some U.S. groups - over the last several months infuriated lawmakers in Washington and caused the Obama administration to warn Egypt that its aid might be in peril." - More here
The UK government may consider the development of chemical weapons for domestic law enforcement, that's according to the national academy of sciences. The state of Georgia plans to execute Troy Davis on September 21, 2011. There is still serious doubt as to Troy Davis' guilt, and by putting him to death Georgia runs the risk of killing an innocent man. Please call on the board to save Troy Davis' life.
The fact is, no physical evidence connected Davis to the murder. Seven of the original nine witnesses have recanted, with many saying their testimony was a result of law enforcement pressure. In the beginning of the Hip-Hop in the Park Jams and Community Jams, Woman were participants in the Hip-Hop movement, from going to the jams and participating, from the 1st MC's Sha-Rock and Pebblee Poo on to the 80's where females were recording superstars. Hip-Hop is male dominated, but women are consumers, and fans, yet there place has been erased from the playing field. Perhaps its success and promotion has less to do with "Superheads" writing skills, and more the medias love of trashing Rap music and promoting titillation.

She has been getting a lot of fame and "Fan" base for exposing "Rap Stars" (does Lil BowWow count as a Rap star)? We usually don't get involved in Gossip and Sexploits of Celebrities as it is petty, corny and there are a plethora of other sites dealing with this subject. But if you read Kat Stacks story its really sad. We are not judging this young woman, she appears to be an adult and can do what she wants, but her blog seems like a scream for help. She has been a sex worker, stripper, and appears to accept money for sex with "Rap Stars". Fighting the world, name dropping alcohol brands and "Dry snitching" on herself, naming her "pimps", (although they don't seem too fussed as they have their own myspace pages)!!!

As it is well documented many big name Rap stars have off duty members of Law Enforcement as "security", a simple word to local law enforcement or I.R.S. by these security, could shut her down in minutes. Not only that, some of the Rap Stars she are exposing are allegedly "Gutter", so their entourage are probably worse. I genuinely fear for this lady's mental state and personal safety.
