PIPE DREAMS; the shards of ideas and ambitions that rarely see the light of day, whether it’s clambering onto a railroad track with a spray can, picking up the camera and documenting your burning passion, to locking down in the studio and creating the hottest sound on road, this is an event that gives due props to those who dared to dream.

For our debut event, we’ve decided to go IN and show you exactly what we do.

Kicking things off at 6pm, we have a painstakingly curated exhibition of the most infamous writers in the Graffiti scene; ZOMBY, TIZER and FAWN. They’ve linked us up with an amazing collection of canvases, some created specifically for this event, with a loose theme around male and female forms.

From 8pm-9pm it’s time to dim the lights and reach for the popcorn as we screen the UK PREMIER of Alexander Rosforths groundbreaking Dancehall doc, MAN OOMAN. A no-holds-barred look at daggering and gender relations in Jamaica, this blew our minds and is exclusive to Pipe Dreams.

10pm and its time to get the beats rolling with some of the best in UK House, Bass and Grime; A full live set from local boy DOOPLER, armed with an MPC and some of the sickest beats around, this boy goes hard! Next up is Moscow-born, LDN resident, and XLR8R-tipped LOKIBOI, supplying some of the best house we’ve heard in a long time. Up and coming beatsmiths PIRI PIRI will be mixing up all manner of percussive bass madness, with forthcoming material on Sounds Of Sumo, bookings at Outlook and Boomtown Fair, do not slip on these boys! And if that wasn’t enough, we’ve roped in a SUPER SECRET HEADLINER; Rinse FM regular, Night Slugs capo and one of the best producers in the game, those who know, know.

With the event hosted by Pipe Dreams family and Rinse FM badman ASBO, this is going to be the best vibes you ever spent a fiver on.AMERSHAM ARMS ▎NEW CROSS SE14 6TY ▎THURSDAY 15 MARCH ▎18:00 – 03:00 ▎GALLERY & SCREENING FREE ▎CLUB ENTRANCE £5in association with DONE LONDON and CHROME & BLACK

Armageddon, Fat Joe, N.O.R.E. & DJ Doo Wop - It's Over (Remix)

The wait is now over for Armageddon's latest single, It's Over (Remix) featuring Fat Joe, N.O.R.E. & DJ Doo Wop on SoFlo Entertainment. With a play on words, director Exile Ramirez and cinematographer Brian Przypek compose the visual realities and dynamics involved with entering the rap game as Armageddon, Fat Joe and N.O.R.E. give their uncompromising honesty in taking down any "weak emcee." In this video, Fat Joe and N.O.R.E. make it a statement to point out and capture these individuals who have no place in the industry and pass them up to Armageddon for the final slaughter. It is a bold statement, but given with an undeniable wordplay. Anyone thinking otherwise is welcomed to say so themselves at Twitter.com/GeddyMusic.

Armageddon - Sending My Love (Official Music Video) clean

New video from from Armageddon's The Journal Vol I: Rebirth (Special Edition EP) In stores May 31 2011

Armageddon - Dance With The Devil

Armageddon sits behind the Director's chair alongside Gee Notes (of Beast Corps) for the visuals to, "Dance With The Devil." Shot in short-film style, the story follows a street gang in desperate need of a mischievous, adventurous night, and embark on a dark, twisted ride that ends even more demented than it began. Amidst the suspense and mystery, Armageddon still incorporates the classic, fun vibe of Hip-Hop culture as he rocks to a packed house party. "Dance With The Devil," is off his recent SoFlo Entertainment/Geddy Music release, The Journal Vol I: Rebirth.

DJ Format-Statement Of Intent-Album Sampler Video! featuring Graffiti Animation by Paintshop Studios Tizer One (ID-HOD) & Dep (HOD)

DJ Format & The Simonsound Live A/V Show Sampler

http://www.youtube.com/user/DJFormatUK
Here's a little taster of what to expect at the new live Audio/Visual show that DJ FORMAT & THE SIMONSOUND are currently touring around the UK and Europe to promote the long awaited new DJ FORMAT album STATEMENT OF INTENT.
Format starts the show on the turntables cutting up some of his better known songs before being joined by Simon on the Moog Synthesizer and an armory of electronic effects. Here they take you away on a musical journey from Hip Hop & Funk to spaced out electronics. The music is accompanied by synchronised visuals that sample moments from classic B-Boy footage, tripped-out animation and carefully chosen visual oddities in a cut 'n' paste style that is completely in tune with the music.
The music itself consists mostly of songs from DJ FORMAT's first two albums, his new album STATEMENT OF INTENT and also songs from THE SIMONSOUND's album REVERSE ENGINEERING that Simon & Format made together in 2010.
The video footage was filmed at the launch party on Friday 2nd March 2012 at The Concorde 2, Brighton but the sound was replaced with practice recordings from home due to sound quality issues on the actual video recording.
More shows are being added to the tour schedule so please check www.djformat.com for updates.
